Happy Halloween!

Happy Halloween! Cameron and I dressed as Mary Poppins and Bert the chimney sweep for a friend's party over the weekend. I had been wanting to do this costume for years. Hope you all had a great Halloween! I can't believe this time of year is already upon us. Where does the time go?

We're back!

Cameron and I returned from our European trip last weekend, and we both have been getting over bad chest colds this week. The dreaded travel illness! I have loads of pictures to sort through, and travel posts to write here. We had an absolute blast and I can't wait to share all the details! I also have some very important news to share :). All coming soon...

And our journey begins!

Cameron and I are flying to Rome today! This begins our two-week vacation in Italy and France. We are so excited that the day is finally here! We will begin our adventure in Rome, then go to Chianti for  a taste of the Tuscany wine region. Next is Venice for a couple days, and our last stop is Paris. This is going to be such a memorable trip. Photo and travel recap when I return! This blog will be a bit quiet until then.

Transportable home

How cool is this house that you can transport anywhere you want? It just loads onto a truck. It's made so beautifully by the architecture studio ÁBATON. If I had one I would take it into the Colorado Rockies.

Best pants for fall

These pixie pants from J.Crew are the best leggings for fall (and any season, really). I just bought a pair for my Europe vacation. They have such a high quality about them, have a good stretch, and the zipper detail keeps them looking more sophisticated than most. Perfect for boots, flats, or wedges, this is going to be a true staple in my closet.

Happy Saturday everyone! Cameron and I are staying just north of LA at his parents' house this weekend because his older brother is getting married today! It's beautiful, sunny, and going to be in low 80's today. Our last glimpse of summer even though it is officially fall. It's a perfect day for a wedding and we are all excited over here. Cameron is playing golf with the boys, and I need to get off Pinterest and wash up. Roxy is looking up at me intently. She must want lunch and a walk. Gotta go!

Meet Carly

This sweet puppy belongs to my parents. I got to finally meet her Thursday night, since I am in LA this weekend. Her name is Carly and she is a standard poodle. Isn't she adorable? Her coat is super soft and the best part is she doesn't shed. I can already tell she has an amazing personality and is incredibly smart. I'm so thrilled to have another dog in our family, and my parents had been feeling the empty nest syndrome since I took Roxy up north with me last year. Roxy still reigns Queen B in this household and quickly let Carly know what's up. 

She is very bouncy and loves to chew. She enjoys a good belly rub and gives you the most attentive gaze, absorbing everything there is to know about humans and her new life. She's such a joy. Welcome to the fam, Carly!
